The Brief

A family in Birmingham wanted air conditioning that would keep their home comfortable through the summer and help take the chill off in winter too. They were after a clean, discreet installation with a unit that was quiet, efficient and easy to control, fitted by someone who would take care of the property and explain how it all worked.

What We Did

Our work included:

• Surveyed the space: Assessed the room, checked the best position for the indoor unit and external condenser, and sized the system correctly for the space.
• Fitted the indoor unit: Mounted a wall unit neatly and at the right height, positioned for even airflow across the room.
• Installed the external condenser: Securely wall-mounted the outdoor unit and ran the pipework cleanly and discreetly down the building.
• Made all connections: Refrigerant, drainage and electrical connections completed to standard, then leak-checked and tested.
• Commissioned and handed over: Set the system up, ran it through heating and cooling, and showed the customer how to control it for the best comfort and running costs.

The Result

A tidy, efficient air conditioning system that both heats and cools, giving the household precise control of the temperature all year round. The installation was clean from start to finish, the pipework neat, and the customer left confident in how to get the best from their new system.

Job Duration: Completed in a day from setup to commissioning and handover.
